You don't need to hire his agent, you just need to be a valuable commodity that someone else is willing to pay more than your current position pays you.

I don't really follow the politics of colleges and their sports but one thing I heard was that the pressure to win is so high in Texas that it's hard to reach "God" status unless you win every year. In Alabama, he's already a god.
