"New Coke" was what I thought, too. The whole Quikster concept made no sense. I don't know if I'm glad that they changed their mind or worried that their idea was so flimsy and terrible to begin with that a little public pressure was all it took to reverse it.
My Netflix is still down 15% from where I bought it but long term I still think it'll recover to its old glory. Once people get over the sticker shock, they'll realize that Netflix is still the only show in town for streaming.
They have tons of foreign films on streaming. Lots as Thai/Korean/Chinese movies, some of which are quite good. Watched "Little Big Soldier" last night -- Jackie Chan movie from 2010. Pretty good. Next up: "The Man From Nowhere". 5 star user rating. Korean. If you like Asian action movies, there are lots on streaming.
(Although if you're not familiar with Asian action films, I can safely warn you that Asians do not believe in happy endings, like...ever.)
