Also, I wouldn't say Netflix streaming sucks. I've seen some great movies that I would never have watched....
The one asset that Netflix has over everyone else is client distribution on all sorts of hardware. They did a great job in driving their brand into the household. This alone makes them valuable.
Part of the problem here is that the stock was driven to levels that were unrealistic.
