Yes, that's exactly the problem...if Apple starts streaming everything, the cable providers just put caps on the amount of data you can stream over broadband, and suddenly streaming hours of TV/movies every day is a non-starter. They are heading that way anyway, just as the wireless providers are capping data on cellphones.
I briefly wondered if Apple could just buy the cable providers, but I see Comcast has a market cap of $65b, so I guess not.
They could pick up Cablevision (Breand's outfit) for a mere $4b, though...
