Haha... I can blaspheme because I lived in Swampland for 3 years and even saw Swamp Jesus himself. Good kid but not NFL QB material. He would have made a good TE though.
What killed me as a VT fan at the time was I'd have to hear about how great he was all the time. We had our own good QB in Tyrod Taylor who was just as charitable, athletic, smart and all around good kid but he didn't wear religion on his sleeve. I used to point this out to people in FL and they'd be dismissive about it. Some of it was because Tyrod wasn't white but most of it was pure ignorance. Then I'd point out that Urban Meyer heavily recruited Tyrod and you'd see shock on there faces. Not only that, some of the other stars on that team, Percy Harvin, were VA kids that VT was trying to recruit as well. That's when I realized that most FL fans were morons.
