Which can easily be done. Look, OU is horrid as well. That game last night against WVU looked almost like a high school game with 8+ turnovers I think. Texas could easily win the Big 12 but what does that mean? They are a top 25 team in my opinion but not top 10 as the ESPN talking heads would have said pre season. They could easily win the Big 12, have a 10+ win season then hope to get a non-SEC team in a bowl, win, and then Mack Brown would be safe for another year or two.
Honestly, its not Mack Brown but the players and how they execute. It is no different than a lot of other schools out there in college sports. The Hokies are the same way. Fans have unrealistic expectations almost every year. I'm sort of happy we are rebuilding (although I think we'll be in the ACC champ game) because it gets rid of the bandwagon fans.
