But with Foster possibly being out for a while and Tate being pretty poor(granted against the Cheifs), us cutting our 3rd string guy had to be for good reason. I mean, who is going to be our backup running back now? Our fullback? Do we have some guy on the practice squad that has been lighting it up? I doubt it. Maybe Vince Young can be a running back?

Depending upon the system a team can implement, I think running back can be one of those filler positions. Other than true impact players like Peterson who get entire offenses built around them, you're just as likely to get a Danny Woodhead who was really just a starting role player for NE.

I mean, even if Foster was still healthy, how effective was he going to be with every starting QB throwing pick 6's or fumbling inside the 10? You put 8 in the box, go one on one with the wide outs and dare Houston to beat you through the air.
Yea I agree with you. Foster is supposedly one of the best running backs in the league(and has the stats to prove it), but honestly, watching him every week... he isn't that special. He's not that fast, he doesn't break a ton of tackles. I think Kubiak's offense is good for running(when he's not calling the same freaking play back to back to back to back to back to back to back... (probably a couple to back's too many there).
I don't own kid gloves.
