Skating to where the puck is going

I imagine the concept isn't that it would ever drain a car's battery completely or in a way that it significantly destroys functional use in an emergency - otherwise it wouldn't have been discussed. I imagine the concept is that a large bank of them would not require a significant strain on an individual unit. It would be decades away anyway since you would need a lot of these cars and there are still lots of people who will never adopt them.

Buddy in Houston got a Tesla, pretty slick. If I had to drive I'd consider it.
