BSG discussion: Spoilers!

If you guys had watched some of the Behind the Scenes shows they have had then you would know the original creators hashed out most of the plot and storyline while drunk in a bar(s).

I liked the ending. It was a lot happier than what myself and my brother were expecting. I was thinking that when the Chief snapped Tori's neck and hell broke loose that everyone was just going to die then and there.

Well Cara ended up being the Angel of Death and leading them all to there doom anyway. I wouldn't call landing and going primitive with the natives to be salvation.

And what's with Baltar's "you know it doesn't like being called that" in response to Caprica's statement...something about "God's plan".

It could just as easily be Satan as it would be God. I mean the primitive earthlings had no technology and some might say they existed in peace with nature. Then the Battlestar people came along and corrupted them and thus the future shows that the humans were just as decadent as those on Caprica or Cobol. Those "Angels" never seemed very Angelic to me. They fit the description of modern Demons much more accurately. Exceedingly beautiful, also full of sin (having sex with humans and cylons), arrogant, and they also lied on many occasions.
