Oo, yeah, I should have said, "Russian". That was a disappointment. I thought when they captured the ship full of Russian tanks, the Russians were going to go all Zangief on them. Apparently they just paid the ransom.
Of course, these days the Russians are mobsters, so maybe the pirates who did that particular heist just had their cars blow up later on. Or they're all wearing cement boots and sleeping with the fishes.
