There's been controversy for some time over health effects of high fructose corn syrup, particularly whether it has an impact on obesity beyond that of table sugar.

I just think sugar tastes better. I should arrange a blind taste test with the Pepsi stuff, since I haven't drank any Pepsi (new or old) in a long time.
