Just saying "he wouldn't be willing to help" is silly and could be used to refute any character.
For example Dustie's team would be pretty good unless it involved having to kill an invading force, Superman has a no kill policy and he would also prevent anyone else on his team from killing. He has been known to let many innocent people get killed while he thinks of an alternative way to defeat an opponent.
Slamz's team doesn't seem like it packs enough punch to be ready for "any" situation. They can probably defeat an infinite amount of zombies and or military forces but would be ill equipped to defend against any real super villian.
Jake's first team would probably be able to defeat Slamz if he was taking over the world by making his brain hurt.

Diggle's and Jake's team has immortals just like mine so they wouldn't be willing to help =p
Zero's team is pretty modest for superheros but a pretty cool list of characters.
He has demonstrated telepathic ability, including mind-reading on occasion,[72] and has proven to be able to influence human emotion and sensation
So fill me in on how basic telepathy protects you from a master telepath or Sith lord. I dont follow crappy comics. But most RPGs would grant him increased defense but by no means immunity. Not too hard for anyone like professor X or ExarKun to get thru. Now you're crying just like my friend when my D&D Psionic character laid waste to his entire 6 man party.
If you want to redo it then redo it with common sense rules and/or a moderator. The game was pick characters you would choose....the assumtion is they are under YOUR command. At this point your just being stupid
