Ahem just get a damned trackball. I've been using the same type of mouse for 12 years.

The only disadvantage is it doesn't have a mousewheel but then again I've never seen a Trackball that had a mouse wheel AND a middle button. Clicking down on the damn mouse wheel does not count as a middle button since it might move the wheel!
