I wouldn't hold my breath on an ETA. I'll keep this post updated though. I crashed three times in about 3 hours last night. Not bad compared to the day before. They are actively patching and updating.

If anyone is interested in trying this out I'd be happy to hop on vent and walk you through the install, HUD and anything else you'd be interested in. Again, the caveat is that it's the first beta update and they anticipate going through many more updates before they reach 1.0.0 Under no circumstances slog me through an install unless you have a couple of hours of patience :wink:

I've also read somewhere that they may be porting the game to Crysis Warhead instead of Vanilla Crysis. Verify before laying down cash please.

I strongly suggest you buy the box set called Crysis Maximum. You get all three games for $40. That way you can play the mod when it comes out for Crysis and move onto Wars when the changeover happens without having to worry about getting another game.
