I seriously walked outa that movie thinking I need to hit the gym.

No, you see, 300 went too far in the opposite direction. There were so many shirtless men that they ceased to be shirtless men and started being background. Pieces of furniture, if you will - and not even particularly sexy piece of furniture

Captain America, on the other hand, is not a piece of furniture.

Not a piece of furniture at all...

That photo is edited. They used flabs body and Chris Evans head.

Last week I saw Avengers and Prometheus.

Avengers was outstanding. Really well done. Some how they made this completely outrageous idea work and be believable.

Prometheus on the other hand... I loved the movie and was entertained, despite some terrible writing. There was just some really silly holes and things the characters did that were stupid. Something would happen you would say "Why the hell would anyone do that?" But the visuals were great, and I liked the story line. And I loved the ending.

Yeah, Prometheus kept me engaged enough through the visuals and action that I didn't start really noticing all the holes until it was done - there were several things that happened that just didn't make any sense at all once it was all done and I had time to think through the movie. Not a great movie by any means but I still found it very enjoyable.
Zirak / Thanoslug in lots of MMOs

In the Avengers I still don't know what the line was when...
the Hulk grabbed Loki and smashed him like a kid and a rag doll... The whole theatre burst out laughing hysterically and the girlfriend or myself didn't hear.
You don't win the Game of Death by dying first. The name is misleading.

Yeah, Chain has it right.
“Out of every one hundred men, ten shouldn't even be there, eighty are just targets, nine are the real fighters, and we are lucky to have them, for they make the battle. Ah, but the one, one is a warrior, and he will bring the others back.”

In 2011 the movie I enjoyed the most was Rise of the Planet of the Apes, because I had zero expectations for it. Kind of the same this year - three movies I had heard no hype for and wasn't expecting much from really surprised me. Chronicle was the best and most original "superpowers" movie I saw this year, Looper was the best sci-fi flick, and Cabin in the Woods was the best and smartest horror movie I've seen yet.
