Big dive in silver today too as well as a small drop in gold. If I believe in my own theories (stocks and metals both down), this is because the big holders are selling metals to raise their cash for what they see as a stock market fire sale.

Either that or The Great Depression #2, I guess... Wish I had bought some ZSL -- up 20% in one day! I wouldn't buy it now, though, unless you have reason to believe silver is in a free fall.

Famous words, Wish I woulda, then I coulda Smile

I sold TZA at 46. I had a sell order at 48 and got chicken. its 56 right now Sad

I Think we bounce from here, but I am wondering if we will see 9k. Its all emotional right now because there really isnt any new bad news out there.

- The "Twist" isnt really a big deal. Perhaps Wallstreet wanted more. Europe is doing about the same.

- Greece is the main concern and they seem to making the right cuts.

- Unemployment is about the same. Could be issue related to to knowing that there is noway the "Party of no" will pass any sort of job stimulus, but again, was that a surprise?

In the end, the DOW has has tanked from 11412 to 10600 in less than 8 hours of trading. An 800 point drop in 8 hours of trading..... Wow.

For now I jumped into TNA and assigned a $5 bracked stop with a sell order at 45.5. If / when it pops up a bit that will represent a 34% gain. But if the dow drops to 9k ish it will sell for a 12% loss........ If that happens Im gonna turn around and buy it again.....

I bought TNA (regular shares, not options) this morning, but I don't feel good at all about my position. Who knows what the weekend will bring? Greek default? Banks going under? Feels like 2008 all over again. Thought we'd have a good 10 years before another of those...

Now that I think about it, the rest of my portfolio is essentially already a bet the market will go up. I should probably only buy TZA (when the market is up) instead of TNA, as a hedge against the rest of my portfolio.

Earnings season will be interesting. The news from Vllad lads definitely wasn't encouraging today. Even worried about Apple, now there are rumors the iPhone 5 could be delayed to 2012 because of production issues.

TNA is a sure thing. even if it doesnt pop short term and the market tanked to 6k, it will return, and unlike options it wont expire.

but if your nervous put in the trailing stop. Just dont do it to low cause it can trigger fast. 3 might be to low, 5 is high.

I put on a 10% trailing stop, but if the market is up on Monday, I will narrow it somewhat.

Odd that the Dow is up 100 points and TNA is down. Its small business so it seems to be tracking the NASDAQ better, and tech is down right now.

That's the problem with leveraged ETFs, often they really suck at tracking the underlying market.

Anyway, it's finishing on a high, so I just sold all mine. Only a 6% gain, but I read too many scary market stories over the weekend. Smile I'm probably missing out on a good few days, but I think I'll stick to TZA from now on (once the market is up more).

I'm holding TNA still. Up 18% at the high but am sticking the channel I have in my head. My sell is at 45. I might whimp out......

Right now if it crashed I would be up 4% with my trailing stop.

Up to you guys but the TZA seems high right now. Go go bulls......

Well the trailing stop kicked in for only a 4.35% gain.... Better then nothjing but that 18% sure would have been nice!!!

Im really tempted to buy TNA again at these levels......

I just bought more at $34.758.

Hoping for some end-of-quarter window dressing to lift the market by the end of the week!

Nice pop this morning. Jobs data falls below 400 and euro continues to look better.....

Here is the question. Is the market now going to turn positive, and reach for Dow at 12k......

Bought TNA 35.45

Go Go Bulls!!!!

Good news = Euro bail out looks good, Jobs data looks good, GDP looks good.... Some good earnings would blow the market up right now.

Urgh, what a horrible market, on what seemed like all good news this morning.

I was up 7% on my TNA first thing, should have sold. Although the market is popping back into positive territory now.

Yea this market is bat shit crazy.....

Tomorrow will have the unemployment numbers again. Im holding....

I have a sell at 45.5 with a $4 trailing stop. If it gaps down in the morning I lose about 10%, but Im betting on the bulls.

The interesting thing here is that soon the market is going to move from this strange place and either move up towards 12k Dow or move down to who knows what.....

If the market moves to 12k, look for TNA at $50.....
