I guess it was a good call. I also bought TNA at 54.80. Just checked and 3 hours later its 58...

Here is hoping for a good bounce.

My work blocks it too. It's almost like they expect us to do real work during the day or something...

I was fully invested, so I got burned, but it's coming back pretty well. And AAPL is still my biggest position, which has kept me up.

I did buy NFLX right before their earnings, though... :roll: And AMZN last night didn't help either.

Yea people concerned that they have again,,,, not made a profit.

They continue to invest, at levels that impact profits. Investors are starting to get pissed.

Sooo, we took advantage of the normal october correction. Today the market is at all time highers. But everything I am reading shows that there is not large wide spread particpation in the market.

You guys know I tend to be the Bear of the group.....

Why is it so high?

I am thinking about TZA or one of the other tripple leveraged bear etfs....

I seem to always do well with TNA and horrible with TZA so I'm more inclined to just sit and wait for the market to correct than to predict when it will happen.

I am a little nervous. Apple at all-time highs, BABA at all-time highs, AMZN, NFLX, FB, GOOG and SPLK bouncing back nicely from their drops. I feel like I should take some profits, but trying to time the market always ends badly for me...

Right now I'm staying out of TNA and TZA, because I really have no clue where the market goes next.

Yes tza has not been good to me. When the market hits levels that don't make sense....

I was waiting for thoroughbred pull back. Seems like 9 out of 10 years there is an October bump.

I had my dinger on a TNA but after the down turn, but pulled back....

Oh well no harm. The Russel 2k didn't really pop as big.

TNA time! Man, what a brutal week. I actually dipped my toes into options for the first time to see what it was like...bye bye $200 heh. I bought 3 contracts for YINN to close above $25.

Heh, yeah, I bought AAPL options for the first time in forever...that was two days ago - oops!

Looking pretty ugly. Might be a rebound on Monday (oversold), but tough to say if the selling is done.

I was watching that unfold. Armageddon has been postponed. Kinda wish I'd tried jumping on some buy orders right at market opening but I thought it would crash more.

I still think there will be a big one when interest rates go up but who knows when that'll be. Today felt more like some people panicked and some other people said "oo, that's a great deal" and just bought more.

Could'a got Netflix for $85 at market open and it's $103 now, like 3 hours later. That's the case across the board right now. TSLA opened at $195 and is now at $226.


I'm staying out of it.

I've been in cash for over a year in my trading account, waiting for this. I'm all in TNA this morning. up 6% so far. I will target 80 for a sell unless I see something funky.

What a nutso day. I wonder how many stock brokers had strokes and nervous breakdowns today.

I was up 6%, then even, then down 4.5 percent, and Now even.... and going up.

Sold at 71.23. About an 11 percent gain. Not bad.

My guess rght now, is we will see another down turn in the next 3 weeks. We will see.
