shit, I really need to pay attention to my own damn threads!!!
just a couple of things here... I truly don't get the facsination behind buffy at all. It's in the same category as Twilight to me - which to be fair I watched... up till the part his skin glittered, which was about the time I threw up on myself and had to turn on some UFC. UFC of course brings up a whole other conversation about latent homosexual tendencies, so at the risk of totally derailing the thread, I figure if you watch UFC and get a hard-on, yer probably gay. ok so back to Buffy. So I don't get it, but to each his own. But if I'm getting called out for admiring a sunset, then Buffy is a wide open invitation to get crap from me. But for what it's worth, Buffy is infact hella gay. Sorry folks. I do think there needs to be a point accumulation though when it comes to giving up "The Card". So something like beating the tar out of some pickpocket who tries to steal your wife's purse would gain you 100 man points, while watching buffy might lose you 5 points. If you have a positive number, you keep your card. Negative, you lose it.

"Hamilton is really a Colossus to the anti republican party. Without numbers he is an host within himself. They have got themselves into a defile where they might be finished but too much security on the republican part will give time to his talents and indefatigableness to extricate them. We have had only middling performances to oppose to him. In truth when he comes forward there is nobody but yourself who can meet him. His adversaries having begun the attack he has the advantage of answering them and remains unanswered himself. For God's sake take up your pen and give a fundamental reply to Curtius and Camillas" - Thomas Jefferson to James Madison

Twilight, from what I gather, is the "fantasy vampire romance" movie. Romance is pro-women and anti-men in a TV show or movie.
Buffy is basically like Xena, Hercules, Clash of the Titans, Conan the Barbarian, etc. It's a "fantasy action show". Being a Joss Whedon product it has good characters and often funny dialog but at its core it's about people beating up monsters or vice versa. (Buffy's one love interest throughout the show is also a vampire, but instead of his skin glowing he basically turns into a Klingon and kills people.) So the only real common thread I see in Orsun's evaluation is that both Twilight and Buffy have women in them, and Osrun prefers shows featuring only men, especially men who are stripped naked to the waist and are sweatily grappling with each other in a cage.

This is all making allot of sense now.
